Our humble beginnings originate in Wakefield Quebec where Chefs Joe O’Shaughnessy and Frank Jousselins belief of simple food DONE WELL led to the opening of our Wakefield shop and two years later our ByWard Market location.
Our name pays homage and a tribute to the legend of JOS Mufferlaw, a Quebec voyageur and lumberjack that we believe must have been a hearty eater of simple food DONE WELL.
